Application
SURFACES & EQUIPMENT
> Virox disinfects equipment and surfaces through spraying or immersion.
After thorough cleaning, Virox can be used to kill the remaining bacteria, viruses and fungi.
> 0.5%-2.5% for 5 to 30 min, dependent on the level of pollution
> Apply Virox via spraying
> Rinse afterwards
FOOT BATHS
> Virox is highly reactive, making it ideal for boot baths to prevent disease spread in the farm. The pink color of the dissolved product fades after degradation of the product into natural compounds. This allows easy monitoring of the active substance, and determining when to replace the product.
Disinfection of footwear is of high importance and can be done with Virox.
> Prepare a 1-2.5% solution for foot dip or disinfection mats.
> In very dirty conditions, place two footbaths in a row, or remove the coarsest dirt before putting the boots in the footbath.
> Replace the solution at least every 1-2 days dependent on the frequency of use.
VEHICLE AND WHEEL WASH
> Proper disinfection of vehicles and wheels with Virox prevents the spread of diseases from outside to inside.
Vehicles coming in and going out of the facility are posing a risk of cross contamination and need to be carefully disinfected with a powerful biocide such as Virox.
